An economy that is Built to Last - President Barack Obama

Initially I started off writing a blog about the state of the union and the messages that President Obama talked about in his address. But...... I came across this picture..

Ariz. Gov. Jan Brewer puts her finger in President Obama's face!

This picture absolutely disgusts me. It disgusts me from the aspect that the Ariz. Governor would openly disrespect the President. There is a time and place for everything. And that WAS NOT the time nor place for this conversation. Whether you agree with President Obama's policies or not there is no other President that has been continually disrespected in such a manner. 

I've decided that starting today, I will not promote any items that are demeaning to any of the candidates. I will not contribute to the ongoing slandering of any candidates. All items promoted here will be of a positive nature.

Republican Presidential Candidate Ron Paul's interesting fundraising idea

Earlier today I was perusing around Zazzle.com and immediately something odd stuck out. I noticed that a mug was priced for $99! Out of curiosity I clicked on it. It was then I noticed that this might be a nifty fundraising idea. Supporters of Ron Paul are selling mugs (and other items) priced at $99 to help raise funds for his campaign. And if you've been paying attention to the best sellers list on zazzle.com you know that his supporters are dominating the top 10 list! A quick look shows that Ron Paul supporters are buying plenty of his merchandise. Seven of the top ten items listed were Ron Paul items. So what's your take? Do you think this is a clever fundraising idea? A knock off of the 08 Obama Campaign? You decide.

It's the Year of the Dragon! Happy Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year! The Chinese new year starts on January 23 and lasts through February 9, 2013. The Chinese new year is determined by the lunar calendar. The new year is always between late January and mid February. The animal that represents that year is determined by the symbols of the western zodiac. The new year is named after one of the twelve animal astrology signs which are: the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster,dog and pig. Each sign has different character and qualities. It is believed that people adapt the qualities of the animal after with the year is named. The dragon symbolizes luck. Those born this year will be considered lucky! Come celebrate the new year with us!
